Rika Levin

Ossining Village Mayor

Rika Levin’s family immigrated to the USA when she was seven years old and was raised mostly in New York State. She is a graduate of Brandeis University and earned her MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.  She spent more than 25 years in management, new product development, diversity management, and eventually Chief Marketing Officer in Fortune 100 companies in New York.  She is currently in management at a large Westchester not for profit organization.  

Rika and her husband Mark moved to Ossining more than 25 years ago where they got married and raise their two daughters. After serving in numerous community organizations, her interest grew to public service in Ossining. In 2015, she was appointed Village Trustee. She is currently happily serving her second full term in that position and was appointed Deputy Mayor in 2018. 

Deputy Mayor Levin is the liaison to a number of Village committees which have her laser focused on improving technology and communications for the public at large, fair and safe housing for all in the community, environmental improvements, ethics policies, parks and recreation, and the redevelopment of the downtown.  Going forward she is building on past successes and focusing  more on keeping a balanced fiscal policy, code enforcement, business improvements for upper Croton Ave. enhancements to the community center, advancing a youth bureau, and greening Ossining.

Manuel Quezada

Ossining Village Trustee

Manuel R Quezada moved to the United States with his parents and siblings in 1993, in 2004 he became a citizen. After graduating from Ossining High school he attended Westchester Community College majoring in Civil Technology. He then furthered his education and graduated from New York Institute of Technology in 2003 with his Bachelor in Architecture . He has worked in the Architectural field since. 

Manuel married in 2011, he and his wife and 3 children and live on the same street he did as a teen. He and his wife are actively involved in many aspects of the community as are their children. 

Manuel served as Village of Ossining Trustee from 2012-present [excluding 2018] and is eager to re enter the board and help bring the voice back to the people once again.

Dana White

Ossining Village Trustee

Dana White has been Ossining Village Historian since January 1, 2015. A freelance writer who held high-level editorial positions at magazines in New York City, Dana moved to Ossining in the spring of 1991 with her husband David; they have two sons. She speaks frequently on local history throughout Westchester County. 


Dana sits on the Historic Preservation Commission, a village land-use board, and on the boards of the Sing Sing Prison Museum, the Ossining Historical Society Museum, the Ossining Historic Cemeteries Conservancy and the Jug Tavern of Sparta.
