Jackie Shaw has an MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management with a concentration in Health Care Management, as well as a BA from the College of William and Mary and a certificate in interior decorating from Parsons School of Design. She worked for Merck & Co. as Senior Manager for Health & Utilization Management and for Koren Rogers Associates doing research and analysis, as well as managing administrative staff. She has been an active volunteer, representing the Town of Ossining on the Recreation Advisory Board since 2006 and as vice chair from 2011-2017. She has also been serving on the Ossining School District Equity Task Force since 2016 and was selected to participate on the Ossining School District Superintendent Search Committee in 2013. Ms. Shaw was unanimously selected from a pool of 14 candidates to serve year one of the unexpired term of the previous Councilwoman.
Ms. Shaw became interested in public service after years of community service, believing that with the knowledge and experience she had gained, that local government was the next logical step.
Ms. Shaw and her husband have lived in the Ossining community for over 13 years. She has two high school aged kids, who attend Ossining High School.
Council Member Shaw is endorsed by the Town Of Ossining Democratic Committee.
