Judge Charley Wood has served as a NYS Supreme Court Justice for the last 14 years, administering justice for the people of the 5 counties of 9th JD — Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam & Dutchess. He has presided over Criminal Jury Trials in Westchester, Dutchess & Nassau counties, as well as Civil Trials in Westchester, Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland, Nassau & Suffolk counties.
In addition to being a Judge, Charley is also a family man. Charley is married to Dori Wood, Esq. and is the father of two teen boys and a Pomeranian named Hercules. Judge Rolf M. Thorsen has 15 years of judicial experience. He is currently serving as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court for the Ninth Judicial District, which encompasses Rockland, Orange, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties. In that capacity, Judge Thorsen presides over a variety of civil litigation matters, which include personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial, matrimonial, labor law, foreclosure, zoning and land use. Larry Schwartz was elected as a County Court Judge in 2016 and currently serves as a Rockland County Court Judge and Acting Supreme Court Justice. Since taking the bench, Judge Schwartz has handled cases in Rockland, Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam Counties. He is committed to a well-run courtroom where participants are treated with respect.
